Ciro A. Jaumandreu (1977) is a Uruguayan visual artist. After this formal education, he continued to be self-taught in art and philosophy. At the same time, he embarked on several spiritual journeys that inspired him to travel to India many times. In 2014, he finally found his personal journey and purpose, and embraced the earth as the center of his artistic, philosophical and spiritual work.
He began his studies with Graziella Basso (1996), took classes at Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes for two years (1997-1998) and then had artist Marcelo Legrand as instructor for two years. He studied photography at Escuela Dimensión Visual (1998) and pursued the university program of Professional Graphic and Web Designer (2002 to 2005).
He has held various exhibitions such as: Intervals of Confidence (2023), Madrid, Spain, Feria Este Arte (2022), Buenos Aires Photo (2021), Group Exhibition at Black Gallery, Pueblo Garzón (2021), Group Exhibition LIVE / RESPIRA -Pensión Cultural Milán (2021), Feria Art Lima (2020), Art-Fest Garzón (2019), Temporada #5 SUBTE, Montevideo (2019), Temporada #34 EAC (2019), Temporada #3 SUBTE – Montevideo (2018), Solo Exhibition at Espacio Impo, Montevideo (2014), Group exhibition at The Union Gallery, New York (2010).
He has been nominated for and received several awards: EAC (2019), SUBTE (2018), Ariel de plata (2008), NEXTARTE (1999).
