Jay Greig

Jay Greig (aka Jason Allen Greig and J. Greig) is a well-known graphite pencil artist from Carson City, Nevada. His drawings have won a number of awards in numerous national and international juried shows, such as The Salmagundi Club, American Artists Professional League, Allied Artists of America, and Audubon Artists.

Greig’s drawings, which have been widely published, are detailed and portray a variety of themes. The artist uses a wide variety of pencils, when creating his artworks. Greig uses perspective, rich tonality and a number of rendering techniques for the creation of depth and movement. His life-long love of animals and nature is his major inspiration.

In adition, several prestigious publications have featured Greig’s artworks. Some of these include Western Horseman and American Quarter Hourse Journal, as well as numerous other articles and covers on various publications.

Greig received a Summa Cum Laude Associate of Arts Degree, from the University of Nevada.

In 2000, Jay Greig founded his company, J. Greig Graphics. Through his company, he publishes and sells his artwork.
