About Jaehyung Um

Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea.
Jaehyung Um is studying Fine Art at the Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London. Jaehyung’s current body of work explores the idea of tourism, combining figures and geometric landscapes. The series of paintings are inspired by Jaehyung’s own reflections and memories collected from his summer holidays at the beaches around Europe each year. Jaehyung actively exhibits his paintings, included in many private collections throughout the globe. He is a full-time painter and keeps a studio in Chelsea, London.
