Jeffrey Damasiewicz

I am a Pacific Northwest artist - acrylic painting and photography. My photography is all about places I like and have visited and things of interest I have seen. My painting is based on things of interest to me, and my focus is on composition, COLOR, and line. I especially love and have been influenced by Impressionists, Post-Impressionists, and Expressionists, as well as Surrealists, Delacroix, Gericault, and others. I hope you enjoy the works as much as I enjoyed creating them!

I am mostly self-taught, although I have a lot of art history education from Texas Tech University and have visited as many great museums as possible, such as the Louvre, L'Orangerie, the Rodin Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Chicago Art Museum, and many others. I have also studied art history and my favorite artists somewhat obsessively.

I will have five paintings and a photograph in the "Earth!" exhibition at Alder Grove Gallery in Aberdeen, Washington, in April and May of 2018.
