Jean Désy

I have been a commercial photographer in Quebec for more than 20 years.

At the same time, I explored the other side of the image - not the image that informs or sells, but the poetic image that asks questions instead of answering them.

Since 2012, my work is exclusively dedicated to fine art photography.

Graduated in Photography from Montreal’s School of Modern Photography in 1978, and in Land Use Management from the Matane CEGEP in 1982.
I also studied Design at the Sainte-Foy CEGEP, and Communications at Laval University.
