Jeanne Ayers

Artist statement:
A California-based oil painter with over 20 years of experience, Jeanne’s work centers on geometric abstraction expressed through vibrant color, structure and movement. Jeanne occasionally returns to floral and succulents, painting the natural patterns of structure and light. A college graduate and lifelong traveler, her full time art practice is informed by a deep engagement with craft, including weaving, quilting, gardening, and cooking, all of which influence her approach to texture, rhythm, and composition.
