My art making practice is an exploration, allowing curiosity and spaciousness to inform my process. Forms found in nature, humanity, and interconnectedness inspire me. This creative impulse is a meditation, a weaving of invocations honoring our planet Earth. I explore with a variety of mediums; including acrylic paint, watercolor, pastel, wax, graphite, charcoal, ink, fabric, paper, thread, wood, and found objects. I am drawn to the mystery of things unseen and the dance between chaos and order. I work with layers, textures, and negative space to create and invite the viewer into a world of curiosity and contemplation. Born in California, I have lived in different parts of Western USA and feel deeply connected to the landscape of the West.
