Jéréme Crow is a painter based in Kent, England.

“I am interested in the observation of form, light, detail, texture, colour while exploring painting techniques and materials. I often work to a small scale, which I think gives an intimacy for the viewer to reminisce and share their own nostalgia with the painting.”

‘Just This’ a micro exhibition of four small paintings of singular, small objects. It features work by Andrea Booker, Jéréme Crow, Rita Kaisen and Stephen Lowen. The work is hung as if on a shelf – a strange collection of everyday ephemera – seemingly worthless were it not for the almost magical capacity of Painting to point towards and imbue with a level of significance. The exhibition is curated by Sean Williams – Bloc Studios, Sheffield – 28 January – 27 February 2022
