Jérémie Camus is a visual artist specializing in animation, born in 1987 in Toulouse. After studying art in Paris, Brussels, and at the École des Métiers du Cinéma d’Animation (EMCA), he joined the Maison des Auteurs in Angoulême. There, he co-directed Bataille and later developed Le Passage. Both animated short films received support from the Poitou-Charentes Region and Pôle Image Magelis.
His artistic practice spans multiple disciplines, including painting—with exhibitions in various venues in recent years—street art, and most recently, the creation of the podcast Marche ou Crée, where he explores the creative processes of fellow artists. Alongside his artistic work, he has been teaching animation and visual arts full-time at the École d’Art de GrandAngoulême since 2015 and leads animation workshops in various institutions.
