Je Sunnie Discipio

JE Sunnie Discipio is a self-taught artist, born and raised in the Caribbean. After a series of life-changing experiences, she relocated to the United States in the late 1970s, where she later became a U.S. citizen. Her life journey has been enriched by extensive international travel, and she now resides in Sedona, Arizona.

Her work is created from a place of deep reflection, love, and intention. Each piece emerges as an expression of inner stillness, emotional depth, and positive energy. Through her creative process, painting becomes both meditation and a form of healing, an intuitive practice where every detail is infused with presence and care.

Rooted in a lifelong dedication to holistic health and well-being, Sunnie brings a unique sensitivity to her art. She previously owned and operated a day spa in the San Francisco Bay Area in the mid-1990s, and her background includes certifications as a Psycho-Aromatherapist, Reiki and Seichim Master, Yoga Teacher, and Master Herbalist. Her work in healing modalities, ranging from lymphatic drainage and hydrotherapy to sound healing and bodywork, deeply informs the energy and intention behind her paintings.
