Jitendra Saini

I belong to Itawabhopji, a village located in Jaipur district in Rajasthan. I studied MFA in painting from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur in 2011. I moved to Lucknow after receiving research grant scholarship by The National Academy of Art, New Delhi for 2013-14. I received state award by RLKA, Jaipur in 2013 in 13th All India Exhibition organized by Lucknow Academy of Art, U.P.
I express myself through kids. They, their purity, innocence, their boundless energy always inspire me. I feel they live in their own world which is immense. As a grown up, we can’t enter into their world. We have to become a child. I calmly sit on the chair, close my eyes and soak my heart into the feeling of being a child. I dip my brush into the colors and paint this feeling onto the canvas. I paint what a child think, enjoy, live, play and worry about. That’s it.
