Jennifer Mcauley

I am a practising artist living and working in British Columbia, Canada. I spent many years working as a commercial artist in the city of Vancouver BC, in recent years I have moved with my family to the rural interior of BC. I live in an area known as the Kootenays, an area defined by its rugged mountains, and coniferous forests and clean, cool lakes and rivers. I am greatly inspired by my natural surroundings. My art is a reflection of my personal thoughts, fears, contemplations and experiences. I often find myself wanting to paint not only what I find beautiful and intriguing but also trying express myself conceptually through my art.
