Joan Mato

Joan Mato- Born in Pogradec, in 24.05.2002. Graduated at High School "Muharrem Collaku" Pogradec (2017-2020). Graduated at the University of the Arts in Tirana (2020-2023),where he continues his master studies.

For Joan, painting is not just an artistic expression but an integral part of his identity that began in childhood. Undoubtedly,his hometown,Pogradec,has had a significant influence on his creativity. This city, rich in natural beauty, has been and remains an irreplaceable source of inspiration for Joan.

Painting directly in nature, or as it is otherwise known, "en plein air," in this city is an inevitable experience. His creative work over these years is primarily focused on landscapes, still lifes and compositions.
