I paint the raw drama of African wildlife because it is my lifeblood. Born and raised in this land, I have spent 25 years studying the behavior of predator and prey, the dust of the bushveld, and the light of the Lowveld. Each piece demands weeks of work—126 to 180 hours, layer upon layer—because the animals deserve nothing less than my full dedication. My goal is to freeze that moment before the outcome: the tension, the power, the survival instinct. When you live in Africa, you understand that every dawn is a hunt, and every sunset is a stand. I paint what I know.
