Jolie Duenas

B. 1978

I'm a Miami native who has had a lifelong passion for painting. My work reflects my Piscean sign: a duality of contrasting traits: dreamy and ethereal, as in my Pots and Plants series, and practical and symmetrical, as in my Linear series. I tend to toggle between those two realms like the two fish swimming in opposite directions.

Some of my work has made its way to private collections in Miami, LA, and New York. I work mostly with large scale pieces, concentrating on acrylic and canvas. I am very much inspired by popular culture, linear movement, and bold, bright colors.
