Jonas Peres is a Spanish visual artist based in Madrid, Spain; trained at the California Institute of the Arts, Los Angeles, with advanced studies in Modern Art at the Museum of Modern Art, MoMA, New York. His work is driven by a central pursuit: an image for the divine in our time.

Through luminous fields of color, subtle horizons and immersive atmospheres, Peres explores the mysterious relationship between light, perception and emotion. His paintings are not meant to be decoded, but experienced — inviting the viewer into a quiet yet powerful state of contemplation.
