“Music meets art storytelling” inspires Jon's colorful paintings. Due to suffering a traumatic Brain injury in 2019, Jon acquired “Music to Color Synesthesia”. A condition where he sees colors and patterns when he hears sounds - in which he incorporates within his works.
Since then his works have featured in exhibitions throughout Alabama and Nationally, including the Kentuck Festival of the Arts (where he has been a Guest Artist since 2023) and Magic City Art Connection (where he received the Joe Piper Award of Distinction), 2023 Featured Artist for Birmingham AIDS Outreach’s Arty Party, “Oh What A Night!” at Ogden Museum of Southern Art (New Orleans) and Featured Artist for UAB Palate & Palette this year.
Osborne works have been featured on Homeworthy, in Shelby Living and AD magazine. Jon has been a strong advocate for the healing power of art and music. He supports the community as Board Member and Teaching artist for Intoto Creative Arts Forum (Non - profit).
