Jon Wenberg

Hello! My name is Jon, I am an artist and architect, living in Tampa Florida.

I prefer to paint with watercolors, inks, and oils, for now—I find in these media an expressively workable quality that allows my sense of light’s interplay with color, space, and subject to come alive for you.

My fascination with the hidden life of light and nature drives my work. The images I create and share, tell my story about the fantasy and thrill of discovery—stories, often seemingly hidden by the hectic pace of life. They focus on micro-moments and spaces that are always available to us, when we stop to look. These are the moments of light and color as they unfold in my life—I render them with the thrill of my love for their discovery—working to un-hide these stories, I follow my wish to share them with you, as well.
