José's gallery was the means to express and discover in each work and every stroke of the brush, the inner man who was trying to be present for more than 50 years of life. It is the voice that so often knocked on my door, leaving a message and a feeling.

It was the inner self that needed to feel loved and cared for.
It was the boy who needed a hug so many times.

José gallery was the beginning of a magical reality that always considers utopia, dreams and fantasies.

It is the uncertainty and fear of dying to the old self and getting into the crossroads of giving too much attention to the fantasies, feelings, my inner voice and God calling me. It is the fear to believe in a feeling as a real and present truth at this precise moment.

José gallery is the beginning of an internal struggle between my thoughts that deny the magical reality and my feelings that manifest it with total vehemence.

Life shows me how much I can lose and feelings begin to reveal who I am and why I exist.

José gallery is a journey that just begins with the requirement of a total abandoned in the feel and reward of living as much as I am capable of the hand of my creator.

Son of Spanish parents, born in Mexico one of the largest cities and raised in it, currently living in a small town on the coast of Baja California Sur, called Todos Santos and characterized as the residence of painters, sculptors, musicians, poets and Writers from many different countries around the world.
I develop my work in an artistic, bohemian and altruistic environment concerned with the environment, mother nature and a simple and cheerful lifestyle.

I was influenced from childhood by many masters of art in the different schools I went through. And for my sister who has been a renowned painter and painting teacher for more than 20 years.
