José Moñú (1981) is a Spanish plastic artist, who stands out for his particular and great universe. In his words: "the limits of my language are the limits of my world; art is my way of life" the philosophy of Wittgenstein (Vienna 1889-1951) and Wollheim (London 1923-2003) echoes. His artistic journey began in his hometown, Zaragoza, in 2007. He was soon considered a young promise and he exhibited his works in institutional rooms and galleries in Zaragoza and Aragon. Critics saw in him an original artist with a great future. Since the beginning, he has been very present in his region’s specialized media. The gallery Fernando Latorre, from Madrid, introduced him to the best international art fairs, exhibiting his work in Hot Art Bassel (2010), Art Berlin (2010) and Art Madrid (since 2009). Several galleries bet on him: Cristina Marín (Zaragoza), Pilar Ginés (Zaragoza), Fernando Latorre (Madrid), Gallery 3 punts (Barcelona) and even, after a long stay in Berlin, he along with other artists decided to open a new space for art in Barcelona, the Hans & Fritz Contemporary Gallery (2015).
