Josh Parkinson

Josh was raised by his Mum on a council estate in Lincolnshire. At age 9, due to some unfortunate events, they moved to Broadstairs/Margate in Kent. Excelling in Art growing up, he went on to study at the former Kent Institute of Art and Design in Canterbury. Now University for the Creative Arts.

At the age of 18 he was scouted by Select Model Management. Josh has had over a 15-year career in the fashion industry, modelling for dozens of magazines including GQ, Esquire, various editions of Vogue and has worked with brands such as Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Fendi and more.

Alongside modelling, Josh always had a passion for music and started DJ’ing in his mate’s pub from the age of 15. In a very random turn of events, Josh won the TV Gameshow Total Wipeout and spent all £10,000 of the winnings on recording studio equipment. Since then, his unique style has led to regular exposure on BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra, KISS FM and his own radio show on Select FM for 8 years. Plus an enviable position of #11 on the Shazam Dance Chart.
