Through layered mark-making, glazing and carefully balanced composition, I seek to evoke atmosphere, emotion and a sense of connection to the subject.

Influenced by both contemporary and traditional painting practices, my work is less concerned with literal representation than with capturing an experience—the warmth of light, the rhythm of a landscape, or the character of a fleeting moment. Each piece invites the viewer to pause, look closely and discover their own response.
