Ari Giverts

Born in the Soviet Union, arrived in Canada in 1960 after spending time in Poland, Italy and Israel.
After completing preliminary studies in Canada still not knowing what to do with his life he travelled across America to sunny California. Meeting an older artist and poet he got thorough introduction to the world of art in the climate of late ’60 California.
After coming back to Canada he began his career as an artist, which included studies in metaphysics, art, philosophy, literature. Extensive travels to remote parts of the planet and exploring painting, photography, multiprojection exhibitions at The Dream Factory.
Ari firmly believes that if you stop exploring, experimenting, learning and growing then quite possibly you might be dead.
