Judy Jacobs

I create simple, honest, and delightfully imperfect paintings that celebrate beauty, comfort, and the poetry of everyday life.

While abstract painting is at the heart of my practice, I also enjoy depicting vessels, tablescapes, and humble plates of food in a naïve style to convey the quiet strength and emotional depth of everyday living, family, and our relationships with others.

I have been exhibiting and selling my work since the early 1990s. My paintings are included in the collections of the Crocker Art Museum, Kaiser Permanente, Sutter Health, as well as numerous private and residential collections throughout the United States and abroad.
