Born July 14th 1972 in Tbilisi. Georgia. USSR. Graduated from The Glasgow School of Art in 1997 with BA in Fine Arts. Jacob creates dynamic abstract works that blend controlled pouring techniques with rich, luminous color fields. His paintings evoke dramatic horizons, atmospheric depth, and emotional energy through masterful layering and organic flows. As the great-grandson of Joseph Stalin, Jacob has forged his own creative path — transforming a complex family legacy into a celebration of color, light, and life-affirming abstraction. His works are held in private collections worldwide and are available through Saatchi Art (since 2010) and his studio. Jacob's extraordinary painting technique and the historical context of his ancestry make his work truly unique. Collectors are not buying a painting, but a story that cannot be repeated.
