Julia Hanzl

I was born in Vienna in 1982 and I currently work as a ceramic artist in my Mödling studio outside Vienna. The main topics of my work involve head sculptures with bizarre and powerful facial expressions.

The number of great artists in my family helped to nurture my love for art and allowed me to formulate my own and very unique artistic ability.

I began with a self-taught love for modeling ceramic heads and broadened my skills by studying at the Viennese University of Applied Arts.


My sculpture are are exhibited in numerous renowned galleries as gallery artziwna in the citycenter of Vienna.
