Juraski Piliskine

Juraski Piliskine is an artist working across contemporary painting, graphics, digital and installation-based practices. He is fond of using natural materials and pigments. He was involved in street art and graffiti culture, which shaped his creative mindset. He has always been passionate about transforming public spaces, such as Moscow Daily (reknown restaurant and cultural place), “Fruits&Veges” vegan cafe, Skvoznyak art space and more. He has created posters and designed music album covers.

In 2021 he was a curator of the “Summer art house” program at the Youth Center of Contemporary art in Ulyanovsk. A significant point was curating the Laboratory 2:SAAD x Yura Pilishkin at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art in 2022. He has collaborated with a clothing designer “Azi Land” in decorating the showroom.

Currently lives and works in Almaty.
