Jutta Rika Bressem

Jutta Rika Bressem studied painting and design at the Academy of Design in Wiesbaden, where she graduated with a Master of Fine Arts. She lives and works as a professional artist on the German North Sea coast. Bressem is a member of the Professional Association of Visual Artists and regularly participates in national and international exhibitions, including in the United States, Japan, Italy, France, Poland, Switzerland, and numerous German cities.
In her artistic practice, Jutta Rika Bressem focuses on abstract painting as an exploration of inner and societal processes. Her works, primarily created in acrylic and mixed media, are characterized by layered structures, expressive gestures, and a dynamic interplay of color, form, and line. Powerful, energetic movements are balanced by quieter, more restrained passages, resulting in an open and nuanced visual language.
Her works can be understood as visual spaces in which visible and invisible structures intersect, emphasizing perception, emotional resonance, and interpretation rather than representation.
