Sylwia Kaden

I am a visual artist experimenting with materials and form. My background is in design. I have a bachelor degree in furniture design and master degree in interior architecture. I am fascinated by the space, form, composition and colour. I create dialog, relationship between both. In my collection I have quite a range of pieces from small ones on paper to big ones made in different materials which I like to play with. I don't like to repeat myself so to speak. I enjoy going beyond two-dimensional shape of the canvas. I am always trying to step out onto new territory. Inspiration, ideas come in different ways and forms. But they are just the starting point. Then is all about the process and what feels right in the moment when working on the piece. Trying not to analyse too much, `I follow my intuition through free movement of expression. I strive for formal simplification and never knowing where the process of creation will lead me.
