Kadri Veisner

Kadri Veisner is an Estonian fashion artist whose work explores the beauty of movement, femininity and the expressive power of a single line.

Her distinctive fashion drawings are created intuitively and spontaneously, often in just a few minutes. Working with ink and watercolour, Kadri captures the essence of a pose, silhouette or garment rather than its every detail. Her lines are fluid and confident, while vibrant washes of colour bring each figure to life.

Fashion has been part of Kadri’s visual language since childhood. Growing up in Estonia during the Soviet era, she created her own fashion world through hand-drawn paper dolls and miniature wardrobes. This early fascination with clothing, transformation and imagination later led her to study fashion styling at the Estonian Academy of Arts.

Today, Kadri’s practice moves between fashion illustration and contemporary watercolour, with each work seeking to preserve something fleeting — a gesture, a mood, a pose, a moment of elegance.

Her art is an invitation to see fashion not simply as clothing, but as movement, character and emotion captured in line and colour.
