I'm a fine art aerial photographer based in eastern Hokkaido, Japan's northernmost island.

Two years ago, I moved here and was struck by the breathtaking beauty of this land — the vast wetlands, frozen rivers, and the deep silence of winter.

I fly drones to chase the patterns that only exist for a few weeks each year — ice formations, frost on marsh grass, rivers locked mid-flow. These are places most people never see, and perspectives no human foot could reach.

My work sits at the boundary between landscape photography and abstract art. I want viewers to pause and ask: is this a painting, or is this real?
