Painting the warmth of life within urban silence.
I am Kangzi, an artist who explores places through the people who live within them.
After traveling to Mexico in search of new experiences, I found myself returning to painting as a source of comfort.
My work focuses on everyday moments—people walking, talking, and sharing life within urban spaces.
Though my studio practice is quiet, my paintings reflect the warmth and energy of lived-in places.
Through my work, I hope to create a sense of connection and shared memory with the viewer.
