Karen Jacobi

Artist, teacher, and traveler creating works that inspire and connect. My paintings are best described as contemporary realism. I am fascinated with the way that people and places interact. Having taught for 3 years in China and Vietnam and traveled extensively throughout SE Asia, watercolor became my preferred medium for its portability. I am back home in Texas where I exhibit in solo and group shows, teach and work as a courtroom sketch artist for television and print media.
