Karin Sebelin

Karin Sebelin is a contemporary abstract artist.

Her art is very much influenced by the great expressionists, such as Gabriele Münter, Paul Gauguin, Marianne von Werefkin, Hermann Max Pechstein, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, Wassily Kandinsky, Alexej von Jawlensky, Paul Klee, August Macke, etc., but also by other great artists.

In her artworks she finds her own spontaneity, her expressiveness, her fantasy for colors.

Her themes vary from abstract landscapes, colorful imaginary sceneries, still life, to geometric shapes.

People speak about her art as „very colorful“.

Karin developed her skills and her art in self-education, through books, courses, experimenting, discipline and passion.

She steadily works towards personal growth and improvement.

In April 2026 she participates in the course “Art Marketing, Digital Technology, & Communications” by Sothebys Institute of Art.
