Karlos Arbizu

Presentation.

Karlos Arbizu (1963) has a degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid with a specialty in Painting Restoration and Conservation.

In his professional career he has held teaching positions at the university level. He has worked as a painter and restorer. He has also collaborated with national newspapers and press agencies.

He has worked as a press photographer and as an advertising photographer

In his career as a painter, he has held various exhibitions, both individual and collective, creating graphic work and painting in various techniques. His work is distributed in private collections.

His work is fundamentally figurative and based on in-depth knowledge of the techniques and procedures he uses, seeking to carry out an exhaustive knowledge of these throughout history, for later implementation in his own works.

Without allowing himself to be influenced by currents and passing fashions within art, he develops his production on the margin of all prevailing aesthetic conditioning.

This results in a work that is always varied and evolving, without a hint of stagnation and full of sincerity.
