Karlys Alejo

Karlys Alejo (1999) is a Venezuelan visual artist based in Córdoba, Argentina. She uses art as an emotional record of her life, transforming personal experiences into painting.

Throughout her practice, she has explored themes such as attachment, connection, and grief. She is currently developing her thesis on toxic positivity through a body of paintings and animations.

Her work has been exhibited at the Emilio Caraffa Fine Arts Museum (2025), the Contemporary Art Market in Córdoba (2024), and in group exhibitions such as Marida and Selva (2024).

She is currently completing a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Arts at the National University of Córdoba, specializing in painting.
