Karyna Iglesias

Karyna Iglesias began her artistic path early, first entering the creative world through modeling in Brazil. She later pursued formal training in the arts, earning a degree in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Lisbon in 2015, where she also explored the field of Sculpture. Her works have since entered private collections around the world, including The Global Collection of Standard Chartered Bank in Taiwan.

Drawing inspiration from her background in fashion, her deep connection to fine arts, and an ever-expanding imagination, Karyna’s practice celebrates the female form with authenticity and reverence. Her experience as a mother of two further enriches her perspective, infusing her paintings with emotional depth and a profound appreciation for femininity.

Her work often portrays women immersed in water and illuminated by sunlight. Water, a recurrent symbol in her practice, represents the forces of nature, the passage of time, the essence of life, fertility, and the mysteries that weave through human existence.

As Karyna describes her artistic vision:
“My work pays homage to life’s inherent beauty, capturing the precious gems hidden in the fleeting present.”
