Painting is like an adventure for me. When I start my journey with canvas, I am never sure what to expect.
This feeling of curiosity is something that motivates me to search for new and for more.
My main interest is in colour and composition.
I studied in the Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz and got diploma in painting, printed textile and fashion design.
My professional career concentrates on photography yet I take inspiration in all of the above fields. My paintings are in many private collections all over the world (Poland, United States, Switzerland and United Kingdom).
The most explored areas of painting for me are: colour field painting, abstract expressionism, action painting and minimalism.
I constantly experiment with paints and tools that I use. That's how I feed my creative spirit. When I have an idea that seems fresh, I can't wait to try it on canvas. I put many layers of paint on canvas and see what happens when they penetrate each other to create a completely new meaning. Some of my paintings I am constantly changing for months until they feel just right. They grow and develop with me.
