Kate Miller

Since completing a Masters in Illustration and Printmaking, Kate has worked as an illustrator for clients worldwide in all fields of advertising, publishing, editorial and design. In recent years she has focused on more of her own art practice. Her technique involves combining acrylic paint with screen-printed images and drawn lines, creating layers upon layers of colour, texture, pattern, and line. Her work is deeply influenced by her travels drawing inspiration from the vibrant colours, intense heat, and dynamic interplay of light and shade. Neither abstract or true to life, she tries to convey the essence of a place.
