Katelyn Alain

Katelyn Alain has had solo and group shows in galleries across the United States and been featured in publications including The Wall Street Journal, American Art Collector Magazine, and Studio Visit Magazine among others. She was a 2020 visiting artist guest lecturer at Brooklyn College and is working to create an empowered new mythology for contemporary times. She lives and creates in Brooklyn, New York.

Alain holds an MA and MFA in Painting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BFA from Hartford Art School. She attended the Marchutz Painting School at the Institute for American Universities in Aix-en-Provence, France and was a resident at the Vermont Studio Center in Johnson, VT.
