Creativity is a release from doing what I 'should' do and instead, doing what I love. -

Art has always been a part of me. In my early years I studied drawing, painting, and photography. Adult life got in the way when I started my own business. Fortunately, I've been able to be surrounded by beautiful items and art because of my career, but it isn't the same as creating.

One of the many things that art has in common with my "real job" is that there is always something to discover. - Currently I'm leaning toward alcohol inks. I love the way the inks work with flowing abstracts, colorful florals, and whimsical themes. The colors are brilliant and luminous. It's also challenging, which keeps it fun.

Throughout the years I enjoyed learning different techniques, finishes, media, and styles but never had enough time for formal classes and never considered selling my works. Then along came by dear friend and mentor, Peter Garon. ​-
Peter is a very successful fine art artist and gallery owner from Washington DC who moved to Florida. By my good luck, we became neighbors. One day he saw me painting and pushed me to step out of my comfort zone, be public, and to grow with my art. His help has been invaluable, his critiques honest, and I would never have done this without his support and encouragement. Peter helped me on to another part of life's incredible journey, and I can't thank him enough
