I’ve always been drawn to creating.

As a child, it showed up in poems and shaping clay into things that meant something, even if I didn’t fully understand them at the time. Then life moved forward — career, raising a family — and that part of me quietly stepped aside.

Recently, I felt the need to return to it.

Not in a perfect or planned way, but in a way that creates space. Space to think, to feel, and to reconnect with something that had been there all along.

I’ve lived and travelled across New Zealand, Canada, and the Middle East, and I’m drawn to real experiences — different cultures, everyday people, and those moments where you’re outside, somewhere vast, and you feel small in the best possible way.

My work reflects what’s happening in the moment — emotion, tension, release, and the in-between spaces where things aren’t fully clear yet.

I’m based in the UAE, where I’ve lived for 18 years, with roots in New Zealand. My work is instinctive rather than planned, shaped by experience, perspective, and a return to something I had put down for a long time.

Self-taught artist with a background in creative expression from an early age, including poetry and sculptural work.

Professional background outside of art has shaped a strong understanding of people, emotion, and human experience, which influences my work.

Currently building my body of work and preparing for future exhibitions and collaborations.
