I am an explorer of paint and light interested in using paint as a 3 dimensional medium. My installation work involves responding to different places and spaces to create responses that invite the public to look again. I often invite the public to take part and make their visual marks which causes a rich textural visual dialogue.
My work is usually time based as an event, and the (unique) photographs people take act both as document and souvenir.
I have smaller work that is made from enquiries and play in the studio. These afford a tremendous excitement in me and I love to let them go to you to compose yourself and light how you like and place wherever you choose. I see my role as providing possibilities for you to join in with.
You can also commission me for different colours and sizes. These also work outside with sun cast moving shadows and indoors large swathes of shadow casters in your room. Awe and Wonder and sheer love and excitement! Shadow makers are started from me, assembled by you to how you enjoy them the most!
