I have been inspired by colours for a long time – I would almost say, as long as I can remember. There were the watercolours that I used to paint with when I was a child. The first picture I remember was a dark tree in front of a sky after sunset turning from a pale pink to midnight blue. Then there were all those greens to be discovered in the woods, taking close ups of mosses, ferns, grasses and young leaves in spring. Not to forget about the marvellous colours of stones, shells and sands you can discover walking along the beach.
