Katie M Dahl

About the Artist
Katie Dahl is best known for her collage like painting. She pieces together personal images then replicates them in paint. “My work is a juxtaposition of images that come and go during the photo choice process to the composition process and the painting process.” She begins with a common phrase that transforms into meaningful and inspirational pieces of art. Katie has a background in fine arts painting and drawing, photography, wildlife conservation, marine mammal rescue and teaching art to k-12th grade students.
