Katrin Förster

Born 1970 in Bremen/Germany, Katrin with family moved to Penang/Malaysia for the first 7 years of her life, Katrin has enjoyed a childhood and continuing career living in different corners of the world - from Hamburg, Kuwait to Argentina, the USA and Europe. Her emotion and spirit have been touched by the diversities of culture, people and nature during this time until now.
Her inspirations from around the world led naturally to professional study.

Having graduated first in Communication Design at the Fachhochschule fuer Gestaltung Armgartstrasse (Hamburg, 1997) and honed impression skills at the Paulwitz-Mathaei School (Hamburg) for Act, Figure, Portrait and Still-Life, her pieces have found a strong international audience.
Even in commercial application of her talents over 11 years, in Senior Designer (Gruner +Jahr) and Art Director (IPC Media) roles of international communications media in the UK and Germany, the continuing demand for her art pieces has persuaded her to exhibit professionally.
