Katrin Freitag is a textile designer and artist from Bavaria, Germany, now living in Yorkshire, UK. Her textile sculptures explore the vulnerability of the material and depict the desire for protecting the human body. She takes inspiration from the traditional use of fabrics and then experiments with unusual treatments and combinations of materials.
