Kavita Sarin Dass offers a poignant, cross-
cultural lens into everyday resilience.
If you're drawn to art that balances authenticity,

Kavita is a British Indian artist who grew up in Himachal Pradesh, the Himalayan state in India. She now lives in Britain. Ever since her childhood she has displayed her creativity. Kavita learnt to paint from the age of 12 from Mr D.J Prim a local artist in India. Thereafter she has been largely a self taught artist. She also went on to study textile design, both the Print form and the weaving techniques. Her paintings have been gaining attention and she has successfully sold some work both in India, the United kingdom and the USA.
An accomplished artist she takes on art commissions for individuals and Hotels and other organisations and will often work on Murals depending on the subject.
Her work explores the simplicity of life that we see around us - the images that hide behind them the beauty and the ugliness, the conflict and the resolution, the struggles and the enslavement the experience and the realization, that we all experience in our lives.

I studied Art through school in India and through college. My teacher, Mr D J Prim is no more, but his legacy lives on in his work. I then achieved Distinctions in a 3 year Textile Design course from the South Delhi Polytechnic specialising in Print Designing.
Kavita has exhibited her work and sold a lot of it at the Parallax Art Fait at Chelsea in London. She takes on private art work commissions and is considered an accomplished artist.
Solo Exhibition in Feb 2013 at Menier Gallery, Southwark; Exhibited several times at the Pitshanger manor Art Gallery in London.Participated in the Exhibition 'Have A Heart', in aid of the Charity Deeds, at Out of The Blue in Khar, Mumbai in Nov 2003 alongside other known artists like Jamini Roy.
