My work centres on the human presence — the quiet gestures, glances, and moments that suggest a story without fully revealing it. Working primarily in oil, I create figurative and narrative paintings that transform everyday scenes into spaces of reflection and atmosphere.
Whether depicting a solitary figure, an intimate interior, or a landscape shaped by memory and history, I am interested less in dramatic action than in stillness: the pause between events, where emotion and meaning settle. A posture, a fold of fabric, or the quality of light can carry as much weight as any overt narrative.
Classical influences often inform my approach, not as pastiche but as a way of grounding contemporary subjects in a longer visual tradition. Careful drawing, rich colour, and tactile surface are central to my process.
Ultimately, I hope my paintings offer collectors something lasting — works that invite you to look slowly, return often, and discover new stories over time.
