Since graduating from Norwich University of the arts Fine Art BA in 2015 I use my art practice as a means to learn about the world. Within my practice I collaborate with Scientists, Musicians and Designers to create immersive and interactive artworks. If you were to visit my studio you would see me sitting on the floor making, surrounded by paint and experimental sculptural forms.
I play across mediums, focusing particularly on Installation, sculptural form and inky paintings. I run with aesthetic and always aim to create an entire world with whatever I'm making. I want to immerse the viewer in my vision.
Currently I’m experimenting with painting. Throughout the pandemic I’ve been inspired to make in response to nature as this is one of the only places I felt truly safe for the past few months. The bright colours represent the warmth I feel from the places in my paintings. They are simultaneously inspired by places I’ve seen and the feeling the place is giving off. I try to capture something magical and otherworldly to give a sense of the planet not to be taken for granted.
